Ruins

Synopsis:

Safi found his sister ‘’Soha’’ after two days of pursuits in Beirut, and insists on returning her back to the village where she must marry her cousin, just as it was agreed on three years ago.

During their ride from Beirut to the village, they shared conversations, thoughts, silent and funny moments, some
were sad and another were hard, which will accompany them, will help them know better one another and help
them realize the differences in their lifestyles, in addition to the influence of the rural mentality on them.

Biography | Filmography

Valentina Khawand, born in Beirut in 1995 with a passion for movies and cameras. She specializes in Audiovisual
Arts at USJ-IESAV. She directed four short films "The Pavement" (2014), "Omar" (2015), "Rasel" (2016) and "Ruins"

(2018). She finds herself in love with every part of the filmmaking process
