Douma Festival

“ﺳﻄﻮﺣﻨﺎ ﻗﺮﻣﻴﺪ” Is an initiative by Douma’s festivals, Live Love Douma and Lebanese independent film fesitval (LIFF) following the UNWTO award won by Douma for being on of the best tourism villages in the world.
In the spirit of sharing this success nationwide, we started a Short Documentary competition under the name “ﺳﻄﻮﺣﻨﺎ ﻗﺮﻣﻴﺪ”, this name stems from the beautiful red brick roofs of our Douma, and just like Douma every village in Lebanon has its own spirit and characteristics deriving from our ancestors, their way of life, hopes and dreams.
The idea behind this competition is to present a stage to share the diversity and culture of our country trough traditions, architecture, culinary distinctions, professions, historical events, and trademarks.

The submitted Documentaries must follow these set of rules to accepted as contender:
-Duration: 3-10 mins
-the documentary must include the name and geographical location of the Village, a brief introduction, and a clear sense of what are the special aspects of said village.
-Final Submission date is July 30th.
