Netflix Warrior Nun series Review

Warrior Nun 7.75/10

Warrior Nun revolves around the story of a 19-year-old woman who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease on life and a divine artifact embedded in her back. She discovers she is now part of an ancient order that has been tasked with fighting demons on Earth, and powerful forces representing both heaven and hell want to find and control her.

Long story short, Warrior Nun is an extremely original and twisted interpretation of centuries old battle between good and evil in general, and science and religion in particular. This show knew how to explore some provocative and conservative themes in a really humorous and interesting manner.

The story had a really steady and effortless flow of events that I’m sure will keep all viewers interested and hooked till the very end. But what I really adored about Warrior Nun is the concept around which it mainly revolved, I mean it was really cool and original and quite amusing to witness to be honest!! it also managed to raise some serious questions regarding the themes that were explored and talked about!!!

The cast was cleverly chosen, they all embodied their extremely twisted and complicated characters so well. Alba Baptista and Lorena Andrea were simply out of this world. Their performances were spot on and flawless. And this was the case with the rest of the cast as well!

Honestly speaking, I was taken by surprise by how fascinating and amusing Warrior Nun turned out to be, especially when combined with its one of a hell electrifying ambiance!! I totally recommend it!
